| Maxis Match Limavady 14 Tries City of Derry 1 This was the first complete maxi game played this season, with 14 players turning out. Unfortunately City of Derry only had 8 players, some of which were P7 players. With 8 players aside Francis Locherie, team Captain organised the forwards with Nathan Barr taking care of a very able back line. Nathan lead by example and ran in 7 well worked tries. Nathan encouraged his fellow backs and got them involved in scoring tries, some of which were unselfishly passed to other players whenever he could have scored himself. Nathan is a young team player with talent who will undoubtedly make his mark in any team in which he plays in. With Francis making the hard yards in the forwards and getting stuck in, the best forward move of the game came from a tap and go on the half way line with Padraig McGowan catching the pass and running through the opposition to touch down for his first try for the Club. Well done everyone – good start to our season. Nathan
